Unveiled back in October, the new Porsche 911 T is the latest Porsche 911 version to arrive on the market and it might just be the purest expression of what enthusiasts want out of their 911. Porsche fans know all about T models which provide owners with a simplified approach to performance, a result of lowering the weight and taking away whatever features aren't necessary for an enjoyable driving experience. Less weight, better performance
The ultimate goal of any Porsche T model is to deliver an uncompromising and uninterrupted driving experience where machine and human are perfectly synchronized to enjoy every journey. The Porsche 911 T is the perfect representation of that philosophy. It weighs just 1,470 kg and it slots between the entry-level Carrera and the Carrera S in the Porsche 911 lineup. It weighs 35 kg less than the entry-level Carrera, but it features a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder flat-layout engine with 379 hp and 331 pound-feet of torque. It reaches 100 km/h and 4.5 seconds, and its top speed reaches 291 km/h.
Other impressive elements include Porsche Torque Vectoring with the manual gearbox that allows the engine’s ample torque and horsepower to be perfectly distributed across the rear axle. Buyers also get a Sport Chrono package and the Porsche Adaptive Suspension Management system which among other things reduces the ride height by 10 mm. You can also get rear wheel steering which is usually reserved for upper trims in the 911 lineup.
Visually, the Porsche 911 T features many of the same elements found on other T models including specific decals, dark wheels painted in titanium grey, and a specific and exclusive interior with a sport GT steering wheel and sport seats.
